Overview
Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka was founded durring the early 17th century in early fall of the year 1619, by Ktil Glkdsëkdo Glkadsm. The establishment of Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Ktil Glkdsëkdo Glkadsm struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka as a prison colony.
Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.
Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad baked earthen streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. Unfortuantly, these robustly designed timber walls are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.
Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka’s streets. Yet, deep down, you know this atmosphere is a carefully created illusion. You can see the ocasional seam in their tapestry. You’re not sure what has them doing their best to act so carefree, but act carefree they do.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka's natural decorations nor waterways.
Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes
Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used has a sleek, linear appearance with stylized, often geometric ornamentation. The primary facade of its buildings often featured a series of set backs that create a stepped outline. Low-relief decorative panels can be found at entrances, around windows, along roof edges or as string courses. It was best known for its use of smooth finish building materials such as stucco, concrete block, glazed brick or mosaic tile. Decorative details can incorporate various artistic or exotic motifs to suit the building's function or the architect's whim. Chevrons, zigzags, and other geometrical motifs are common forms of ornament.

Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka is in secret rebellion against their ostensible liege, having cut deals with his enemies, plotted to betray him for their own gain, or bridled under his tyranny and sought a better lord. The community’s leadership is all in on this plot, and outside viceroys or representatives are being kept carefully ignorant of the reality. The common folk may be oblivious to the truth, though they’ll doubtless have felt the same motivations and promptings that convinced their leaders to turn traitor.
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century after an anomalously snowy winter, runoff from snow-melt caused Tarn Moriri to overflow its banks and spill into Backwater Emerald. The resulting flood was isolated to the area around Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka, which was swallowed by the waters for several days. Běkă Nǐdě Birěkhka lost 118 people, 141 livestock, and 92 buildings in the disaster. The disaster is remembered as the Torment Drownings.
